Revised 6/21/2004
Applicants: Read these rules carefully and take make sure you follow them, you wont be able to apply if you do not read them, we BAN people daily for violations and ignorance is not a defense. It would be a shame to go through ALL this effort to only get banned within the first few hours of playing.
We are a community that is trying to create a resource of gear-checked players with community quality assurance and control. The community serves as a resource for the top echelon of geared players to draw upon for any need albeit T6 team rifting is the core of our goal.
You can use our community as a resource to recruit members for a party for a any goal - bounty, mat farm, eq share and of course rifts.
The make up of the community is basically people who generally can do a T6 rift in a team in under 10 minutes.
A decent size of our population does rifts on an average of 6 minutes (4 being fast - 8 being slow - density driven).
1) Rift keys - have them before you start and have enough for several cycles.
2) Don't be a epeen or jerk. Bad attitude / needless arrogance / stupidity can get you kicked.
3) Do not bring non-community carries to the party unless you announce it ahead of time and people are okay with it:
i.e. "Got a friend we're carrying but he'll open all the rifts for us - if that's okay"
4) Clans can recruit - but do not spam more than once an hour.
5) People can advertise their streams - but do not spam more than once an hour.
6) Do not "glitch" rifts for a "free" one - unless okay with the group. You will still be responsible for opening on your turn. Some people WANT the exp and gold from the run.
7) Do not "borrow" a member to start up RIF. Don't invite someone to kick them out for a RIF slot - instakick of all members in the party who do that.
8) RIF requests are okay to advertise in our channel.
9) Split bounty requests are okay to advertise in our channel. i.e. Split speed T2's.
10)We don't mind people sharing caches / farming mats / etc - provided it's at a high level and requires high level players.
11)You can NOT pay for rifts with souls. (Going into a PUG with this will result in a kick/ban)
12)You shouldn't bring an alt player that isn't gear checked. If you play an alt that's undergeared and there are complaints - you will be kicked from the community.
13)If you are rifting with an established group and picking up a +1 from the community, have them open last in case a "friend" comes online and you need the spot. Bad form to make the +1 pay into the cycle and break out of it early.
14)Kicking is the very last resort. If you kick, it better be a good reason. The whole team who vote kicks is at risk for ban if it appears unwarranted. (i.e. kick after opening - another form of leeching)
15)If you read all these rules carefully, the next step to applying would be to join the community members group. Continue reading to find out how to join.
Leaving the rift party early:
Ideally - everyone quits together(3/4 people stopping at the same time) - if 2 people are leaving, the higher paragon who fulfills the below needs to open.
The person leaving early can leave without opening the rift under 1 condition
1) He has already paid for an opening on that cycle
Otherwise:
If he was up to open, the next guy in line opens and the replacement that comes in should be last in the new cycle.
If he hasn't hasn't gone in the cycle yet, he needs to open before leaving.
About Shortlisting and Kicks:
1) We have a sizable population running Turbo Hud - we do not endorse this 3rd party program. This program evaluates your DPS and there is a threshold dps to stay within the community.
>70 mil - acceptable but this is considered low for almost all the classes except for barbs.
Between 60-70 mil -> shortlist depending on the issues.
Under 60 mil -> high potential for kick
2) Monks - if you are running fine at this time, and there are no complaints of your quality - nothing to worry about. If there is a complaint and you are below 62% cdr, you will have 24 hours to come into spec before being kicked.
